Add-ons
Add-ons are one-time credit packs. Use them when a team has a temporary spike in PR volume, wants to trial peer review on more repositories, or runs out of included monthly capacity before renewal.
Add-on types
| Add-on | Credits per pack | Active paid plan price | Standalone or trial price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal review add-on | 100 normal credits | $20.00 | $38.99 |
| Peer review add-on | 100 peer credits | $59.99 | $89.99 |
You can buy 1 to 10 packs at a time from Settings -> Billing.
How add-ons are used
Add-on credits are used only after the matching subscription pool is exhausted.
For example:
- A Team plan includes 500 normal reviews.
- The workspace buys 100 normal add-on credits.
- VULQN uses the 500 included normal reviews first.
- After that, VULQN uses the normal add-on credits.
Peer add-ons work the same way for peer review capacity.
Expiry
Each add-on shown on the billing page includes its own expiry date. Treat the expiry date in Settings -> Billing as the source of truth for the pack.
When buying without an active paid subscription, add-on credits are valid for 30 days.
When to buy normal add-ons
Buy normal add-ons when:
- Your team has a release crunch.
- A migration creates unusually high PR volume.
- You want to keep a lower monthly plan but occasionally burst above it.
- Automatic re-review pauses are still asking for manual reviews that the team wants.
When to buy peer add-ons
Buy peer add-ons when:
- You want peer validation on more repositories.
- You are reviewing security, payment, or authorization-heavy work.
- You are evaluating whether Pro-level peer review should become the default for critical services.
- You temporarily need stronger review signal for a large launch or audit window.
Peer add-ons are separate from normal add-ons. Buying normal credits does not enable peer review capacity.
Buying add-ons
Admins can buy add-ons from Settings -> Billing:
- Choose Normal or Peer.
- Choose the quantity.
- Continue through Stripe checkout.
- Return to VULQN after checkout completes.
The billing page refreshes after successful checkout and shows the new add-on pack under active add-ons.
